The metallurgical casting overhead crane is the main lifting and transportation equipment in the smelting workshop of the steel plant, which is used for the transferring, pouring and mixing of liquid metal in the smelting process.

YZ type double beam structure is generally adopted for those below 125t. Above 125t is generally YZS four-beam structure.

YZS type adopts the structure of main and auxiliary double trolley, four beams and four rails, which is mainly composed of bridge, main trolley, auxiliary trolley, hook beam, crane traveling mechanism and electrical parts. The main trolley runs on the main beam track outside the bridge, and the auxiliary trolley runs on the auxiliary beam track inside the bridge. The main trolley lifting device is a fixed-spacing hook beam, which is used to lift the steel ladle. The auxiliary trolley runs under the main trolley, and the lifting device is a hook, It is used to cooperate with the main hook to pour molten steel, slag and other auxiliary lifting operations.

YZ type casting bridge crane adopts double-beam single-trolley structure, which is mainly composed of bridge, trolley, hook beam, crane traveling mechanism and electrical parts. The main hook lifting device is a fixed-spacing hook beam, which is used to lift the steel ladle, and the auxiliary hook is used to cooperate with the main hook to pour molten steel, slag and other auxiliary lifting operations.

The crane traveling mechanism and main electrical equipment are installed in the main beam, and the main beam electrical equipment room is equipped with a cooling fan. In order to reduce the thermal radiation of molten steel to metal structures, thermal insulation board is set at the bottom of the main beam along the span direction.

The crane traveling mechanism adopts the form of four-angle drive.

The crane is equipped with a special electronic scale with obvious display device in the cab and on the bridge.
