1. When the gantry crane adopts the hanging cable trolley (or cable guide car), the cable shall be prevented from being worn and excessively bent in motion. For cables with an outer diameter of no more than 8mm, the curvature diameter of the cable hanging bending plate shall be at least 6.3 times of the outer diameter of the cable; For cables with an outer diameter greater than 8mm, it should be at least 8 times of the outer diameter; For cables with an outer diameter greater than 12.5mm, it should be at least 10 times the outer diameter; For flat cables, the thickness of the cable is equivalent to the diameter of the round cable.
2. When arranging the cables of gantry crane, ensure that the length of each cable is equal, the pressing plate is firmly crimped, and the outer diameter of the cable on the same layer is as close as possible to avoid excessive stress on one or a few cables. The traction steel wire rope shall be set between the suspension cable trolleys. During operation, when the distance between two adjacent suspension cable trolleys makes the included angle between the suspension cables close to 120 °, the traction steel wire rope shall be completely straightened and stressed.
3. When the cable drum is used for power supply, the cable shall be prevented from being worn during movement. For cables with an external diameter of no more than 21.5mm, the bottom diameter of the cable drum shall be at least 10 times the outer diameter of the cable; For cables with an outer diameter greater than 21.5mm, the bottom diameter of the cable drum shall be at least 12.5 times the outer diameter of the cable.
4. The cable drum of gantry crane shall be able to wind the cable automatically, and the driving torque of the cable drum shall not be less than the upper limit of the winding torque required for winding the cable. In the process of cable laying, the traction force acting on the cable conductor should be as small as possible. For cables without reinforced core, the upper limit of the allowable tension acting on the copper conductor section is 20n / mm ²， When the cable winding speed is required to be high or the cable weight is heavy, a reinforced steel wire rope that can bear the required traction shall be added as the core.
